About the Children’s Library!
There’s so much for children to do at Forbush Memorial Library. We have summer and winter reading programs to encourage good reading habits and lots of new books to choose from. There’s also a play area your children can use.
Our librarians are always willing to help you find good books for your child. Our fastest growing collection is our Easy Reader non-fiction section. You can also check the events calendar for storyhour times, which are very popular. Along with great books, we have CD’s, videos, literature based activity kits and parenting books as well.
Something New – Mother Daughter Book Club
Something new this September, is the Mother Daughter Book Club for girls grade three to five. We started off our new venture with a Mother/Daughter Tea, and after cookies, tea and lemonade we got down to business. Our first book is “Everything On A Waffle” by Polly Horvath. Check our calendar for meeting times.
