A Resource for Parents
Forbush Memorial Library has been a wonderful resource for parents for generations. We have an up to date collection of books for all ages, from boardbooks to Young Adult books. We have a steady stream of new books to add to our shelves as well as the classic stories.
We offer many Story Times and Activities for the youngest up to teens. This past year we have added an afterschool, literature based story/craft program that’s become popular. Check our calendar for the latest offering.
Did you know that the Children’s Room has it’s own selection of Parenting books? We are always looking for the latest books about children and their needs. If you don’t find what you are looking for, ask Miss Geri at 978-874-7416.
Looking for something to do on a rainy day or hot summer day? The children’s room has a section of toys to play with, a selection of movies to borrow and of course, plenty of great books to read. What better activity than something that encourages a love of reading and learning about the world!
A Resource for Teachers
Teachers,
Discover the resources we have that will supplement your classroom activities. Help your students navigate the library and the online resources available to them. The children’s staff considers the Massachusetts’ frameworks when ordering new books. Our fastest growing collection is non-fiction for our emergent readers. We welcome teacher’s suggestions!
Homeschooling Families
We have a wonderful collection of both fiction and non-fiction for our homeschoolers! We also offer space for special group activities. The online databases and links round out our library tools for any reasearch projects that you might have.
