The Library Community

Your library is a part of the greater community.  The library serves as a site to collect donations, such as eyeglasses, or seasonally related items, for other community groups. We invite you to actively support the library and other community organizations to enhance the library as a community hub.

There are many ways to support the library and our community.  Become a member of the Friendsshare a personal collection in our display case, donate books, volunteer your time at the library, or consider purchasing items of interest that are posted below.  You may download a volunteer application here .

Thank you for your support!

We would  love to have your collection on display!  We have a glass display case that is secure, measuring 6 feet long and 2 feet deep with 2 glass shelves inside. To share your collection with the community for a month or more, leave your name at the circulation desk or contact Nick Langhart at 978-874-7416.

The Friends of the Library are currently offering quality sepia-toned reproduction prints of the 1892 bird’s eye view of Westminster 18” x 24” for $20.00. Get them before they are gone!

Oakmont_SpartanThrough the generosity of the Oakmont School Librarian, we’ve received a gift of over a dozen Oakmont Regional High School yearbooks to add to our collection. While we do not have every year, 36 of the last 50 yearbooks are available for reference and copy here at the library.

If you have an Oakmont yearbook that you’d like to donate, we still need issues from these years: ’64, ’65, ’67, ’84, ‘86 thru ’88, ’91 thru ’93, ‘97, ’98, ’01, ’03, and 2012.

The Westminster Lions Club is taking donations of used eyeglasses for those in need. The donation box is located at the side of the main check out desk. So far, there are over 75 pairs that have come in. The Lions Club thanks everyone for their donations.
