Seniors: Writing That College Essay?
If you’re a senior, it’s that time to write your essays for the colleges/universities of your dreams, right? For some of you it just comes easy and you’ll have your essay done in no time. I remember sitting in front of my clunky old typewriter and staring at a blank piece of paper. When I wrote a paragraph or two, I ended up yanking it out of the typewriter, crumpling it up in a ball and filling my wastebasket with them. Yes, I know, that dates me, doesn’t it!
So…don’t worry, there’s help! CollegeBoard for Students has great advice to get you started choosing your topic, writing a draft, showing you samples and giving you tips to finish a great essay.
