Forbush Memorial Library has served the educational, informational, and social needs of Westminster residents since 1878. Donations are greatly appreciated and help us improve our offerings to you, the patron! Gifts and donations can be a lovely way of honoring a friend or loved one.
Please take a moment to review our Acceptance of Gifts policy on the Policies page. If you have any questions, you are invited to contact the Library Director.
The library accepts tax-deductible donations by cash or check. Gifts may be designated for a specific material type like Adult Programs, Technology, Teen Programs, Children’s Programs, Collections, etc.
The Town of Westminster’s online payment center, Unipay, includes the ability to make a donation to the library online. To make a donation, select “Forbush Library” from the list on the left of the page, then click “Donations”.
For assistance using the online payment center, please contact the library.
The Friends of Forbush are currently accepting donations of books, DVDs (no Blu-Rays), and CDs in good condition, with particular interest in late edition fiction and non-fiction books. Please read their May 2024 announcement for more details.
The library's Acceptance of Gifts policy sets forth guidelines for accepting and handling gifts and donations.
Making a bequest or establishing a trust are both wonderful ways to commemorate a loved one’s dedication to our library. For more information, please contact the Library Director.
