Accessibility Services
Our library is fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs. Please see “Accessible Entrance” for information on where to park when you come to visit us.
Accessible Entrance
Two handicapped parking spaces are located in our parking lot at the rear of the building (off of Bacon Street). The sidewalk and entrance from the parking lot are handicapped accessible. An elevator is available inside to access all floors of the library.
Accessible Programs
The staff is committed to making our programs accessible. If you have a disability or are attending a program with someone who has a disability, feel free to call us at 978-874-7416 and we will make sure that the furniture is situated in programming rooms in a way that is accessible to your particular needs.
American Sign-Language Interpreter
If you require the services of an American Sign-Language interpreter during a program, please contact us in advance by calling 978-874-7416 or emailing the Library Director. The library will make every effort to have a qualified interpreter present at events for patrons needing such services.
Print Magnification Device
The library has two Optelec Clearview+ print magnification devices to assist the visually impaired. One is located in the Children’s Room and one is located on the Main Floor. Please ask a staff member at any circulation desk for assistance using these machines.
